Buc-ee's has officially begun construction on its first North Carolina store in Mebane, marking a major moment for local travelers and fans across the state.

On June 10, company founder Arch "Beaver" Aplin III and local officials broke ground at the site along Interstate 40/85, with Mayor Ed Hooks celebrating the start of this highly anticipated project.

The massive travel center will feature 74,000 square feet of retail space, 120 fueling stations, and is expected to create over 200 full-time jobs.

Buc-ee's has committed millions for infrastructure improvements to address expected traffic increases, ensuring smoother travel for everyone passing through the corridor.

Famous for its clean restrooms, fresh food, and Beaver Nuggets snacks, Buc-ee’s is set to become a go-to road trip stop for journeys across the state.

Opening is targeted for late 2027, promising to make road trips in North Carolina more memorable than ever.

Families appreciate the safety of pondless waterfalls, as there is no standing water for children and pets to fall into.

With minimal maintenance requirements and year-round appeal, pondless waterfalls are a popular choice for creating a relaxing outdoor space that feels connected to nature.

These features can easily be integrated into Charlotte's natural landscape and provide a serene retreat in any backyard.
