A Day of Music, Dance, Art, and Community Empowerment in Uptown Charlotte

Charlotte is set to host the inaugural Charlotte Soul Fest 2025 on Saturday, September 6, at First Ward Park.

This free, family-friendly event promises a full day of live music, cultural dance workshops, art exhibitions, and community resources.

Attendees can enjoy performances from local talents such as 4GWL, Braxton Bateman, and Harvey Cummings II.

Dance enthusiasts can participate in workshops covering styles like Ring Shouting, Samba Afro, and Hip Hop.

The Soul Expressions Art Walk will showcase works from Black artists and makers, while the Kids Zone offers games, crafts, and inflatables for younger attendees.

Beyond entertainment, the festival emphasizes community support.

Housing partners will provide guidance on achieving housing stability and homeownership.

Attendees are encouraged to support the hunger relief mission by donating to the community food drive in partnership with Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina.
