The Charlotte Asian Film Festival is set to make its much-anticipated return on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at The Dubois Center at UNC Charlotte Center City, located at 320 East 9th Street.
This one-day event will showcase a diverse array of short films, features, and documentaries that delve into Asian identity, culture, and heritage.
Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with filmmakers during Q&A sessions, gaining insights into the creative processes behind these compelling stories.
The festival's schedule is as follows:
9:30 AM - 9:45 AM: Registration/Check-in
9:45 AM - 10:00 AM: Welcome and Opening Remarks
10:00 AM - 2:00 PM: Film Screenings
2:15 PM - 3:00 PM: Awards Presentation and Closing Remarks
Following the screenings, the celebration continues with an after-party from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Maya VP Studios, featuring food trucks, local vendors, and networking opportunities within Charlotte's creative community.
